The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. As a rule, our website can be used without providing any personal data. Insofar as personal data (for example name, address or e-mail addresses) are collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis wherever possible. These data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. We would point out at this stage that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
1.1. We hereby wish to inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data when you use our websites, functions and content. This information applies irrespective of the platforms, devices or systems on which the online service is accessed.
1.2. The personal data processed in connection with this website include master data (e.g. names and addresses of customers), where applicable contract data (e.g. services used, names of persons in charge, where applicable payment information), usage data (e.g. the web pages of our online service visited) and content data (e.g. entries in the contact form).
1.3. We process personal data only in compliance with the relevant data protection provisions. The data of our users are processed only on the basis of a statutory permission. The relevant legal bases can be found under item 3 "Legal bases" in this policy.
For the definition of the terms used in this policy, we refer to the definitions in Art. 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). A "user" within the meaning of this policy is any data subject affected by the data processing. This term is to be understood as gender-neutral.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, the legal bases for the collection and processing of data are consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 7 GDPR; the legal basis for processing for the performance of contractual services and the implementation of contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; the legal basis for processing for compliance with legal obligations, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR; and the legal basis for processing for the purposes of legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
In order to ensure the secure handling of personal data, our technical and organisational measures correspond to the state of the art. This serves in particular to implement the applicable data protection regulations and to prevent loss, manipulation, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties.
We disclose data to third parties only where there is a statutory authorisation to do so. This may be the case in particular where disclosure is necessary for the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). As a rule, this is agreed with the user in advance.
Customer data, in particular names and addresses as well as contact details, contract data, data relating to contractual services, names of contact persons and payment information, are processed and stored for the performance of contractually agreed services pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
7.1. Where a user contacts us by e-mail, the data thus transmitted are processed for the purpose of handling and dealing with the enquiry pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where appropriate, we may contact the enquiring user in order to ensure that the enquiry is dealt with properly and appropriately. This occurs in particular where further information is required to deal with the enquiry.
7.2. The information provided by users may be stored in our internal file management system. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If the purpose of your contact is the conclusion of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR constitutes an additional legal basis for the processing.
Personal data which you submit to us in the course of an application procedure, such as name, address, contact details and, where applicable, information from your CV, in particular data on your professional career such as references, certificates or additional skills acquired, will be used exclusively for processing the application and, where applicable, for preparing a job interview. Under certain circumstances, the data may be forwarded within our company to the persons responsible in the relevant department who are to be involved in the decision on the application.
9.1. On the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, data on every access to our server are stored in what are known as server log files. These comprise in particular the name of the pages accessed, the date and time of access, the volume of data transferred, the browser type and version, the operating system of the accessing computer, the referrer URL, the IP address and the requesting provider, as well as the access status/HTTP status code and the time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
9.2. We collect this information for security reasons, in particular to investigate misuse or fraud. Data whose further retention is required for evidential purposes are exempt from deletion until the incident concerned has been finally clarified.
9.3. The so-called access logs of the web servers record which pages were accessed and at what time. The data recorded comprise the IP address, the directory protection user, the date and time of access, the pages accessed, protocols, status code, data volume, referrer, user agent and the host name accessed.
9.4. IP addresses are recorded anonymously by deleting the last three digits. Information on the directory protection user is anonymised after one day of storage.
9.5. In addition, faulty page requests are logged in so-called error logs. Besides the error message, the IP address of the user and, depending on the error message, the web page accessed are recorded. These log files are deleted automatically after seven days.
10.1. Some of our web pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our service more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser.
10.2. This website uses transient cookies and persistent cookies.
10.3. Transient cookies are deleted automatically when you close the browser; these include the session cookies used by us. Such cookies create what is known as a session ID. This ID allows various requests from the user's browser to be assigned to a single visit to our website. This makes it possible to recognise the user's computer when the user visits our website again.
10.4. The persistent cookies used by our website are deleted automatically after a certain period. The duration may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.
10.5. If users do not wish cookies to be stored on their computer, they can deactivate and delete them in their respective browser settings. You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted. Insofar as personal data are also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out either pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of the contract or pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in order to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.
11.1. Within our online presence, on the basis of our legitimate interest in optimising and analysing our website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, we use services offered by third-party providers which involve the integration of fonts (hereinafter: "content"). For this purpose, the third-party provider must obtain the IP address of the users, as this is the only way the content can be sent to the users' browser. The third-party provider may also use pixel tags, among other things, for marketing purposes or for statistical analysis. Such pixel tags allow visitor traffic on this website to be evaluated. This pseudonymous information may also be stored as cookies on the user's device. It may contain, among other things, technical information on the browser, the operating system, referring websites, the duration of the visit to the websites and further information on the use of our websites. This information may be combined with information from other sources.
11.2. In this context we use the integration of XING, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. When a page of our website that includes an integration of XING is accessed, a connection to the XING server is established. The relevant privacy policy can be found at https://www.xing.com/app/share?op=data_protection.
11a.1. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that allow the use of our website to be analysed. Pseudonymous usage data is processed, such as pages viewed, time spent, approximate location (country, region, city), device and browser information and the referring page. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; they are only used to determine the approximate location and are then discarded.
11a.2. The purpose is the statistical evaluation and improvement of our website. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Google Analytics is only loaded once you agree to the “Statistics” category in the cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2: without consent, no analytics cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google. We do not use advertising or personalisation features.
11a.3. A transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Google.
11a.4. The cookies are stored for up to 14 months. The retention period for event data in Google Analytics is limited to 14 months.
11a.5. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by opening “Cookie settings” in the footer and deselecting the “Statistics” category. The analytics cookies are then deleted. Further information from Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.
12.1. Every user has the right to obtain, upon request and free of charge, information about the personal data collected and stored by us about them.
12.2. In addition, every user has the right to the rectification of inaccurate data, to the restriction of processing and to the erasure of their personal data. Where applicable, you may assert your right to data portability and, if you believe that data processing is unlawful, lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
We expressly draw your attention to the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR in conjunction with § 19 BDSG. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg), Königstraße 10a, 70173 Stuttgart. Telephone: 07 11/61 55 41 – 0, Fax: 07 11/61 55 41 - 15, E-mail: poststelle@lfd.bwl.de.
12.3. As a matter of principle, users may revoke their consent at any time with effect for the future and without giving reasons.
13.1. The data stored by us will be erased as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and no statutory retention obligations preclude erasure.
13.2. Insofar as users' data are not erased because they are required for other, legally permissible purposes, their processing will be restricted, for example by blocking the data. The data will then not be processed for other purposes. This applies, for example, to users' data that must be retained for reasons of commercial or tax law or, where applicable, to data from an application procedure.
13.3. The statutory retention periods are 6 years pursuant to § 257 para. 1 HGB (commercial books, inventories, opening balance sheets, annual financial statements, commercial letters, accounting vouchers, etc.) and 10 years pursuant to § 147 para. 1 AO (books, records, management reports, accounting vouchers, commercial and business letters, documents relevant for taxation, etc.).
Users may object to the future processing of their personal data at any time, in accordance with the statutory provisions and without giving reasons, by notifying us.
15.1. We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. This will be done in particular in order to adapt it to changes in the legal situation or in the event of changes to the service or to data processing. However, this applies only with regard to statements on data processing. Where users' consent is required or where elements of the privacy policy contain provisions governing the contractual relationship with users, amendments will be made only with the users' consent.
15.2. Users are requested to inform themselves regularly about the content of the privacy policy.
